This Privacy Policy explains what information ResumeTemplatesPro ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our resume and cover letter builder (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We built the Service to be private by default: your resume content is yours, and you can export or delete it at any time.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if you sign up with a password) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google — we never see or store your Google password.
Resume and cover letter content. The information you type into the builder — work history, education, skills, contact details, an optional photo, and any job descriptions you paste in for the AI tailoring feature — is stored so you can come back and keep editing.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor handles your card details directly — we never receive or store your full card number. We receive limited billing information (such as your plan and subscription status) needed to manage your account.
Usage information. We collect basic technical data (like error logs) to keep the Service running reliably, and we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and how the Service is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run ResumeTemplatesPro:
We keep your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a resume, cover letter, or your entire account, we remove the associated data from our active systems (backups are cleared on our normal retention schedule).
You can access, edit, export, or delete Your Content at any time from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — including the right to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. To make such a request, email us at [email protected].
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your session, and Google Analytics cookies to understand site traffic and usage — no third-party advertising cookies.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do, and we'll notify you of material changes where appropriate.
