Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ResumeTemplatesPro (the "Service"), operated by ResumeTemplatesPro ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ResumeTemplatesPro is an online tool for creating, customizing, and exporting resumes and cover letters. Free accounts can build one resume with any template and download a free watermark-free PDF or TXT copy. Paid plans unlock additional resume and cover letter slots, AI-assisted writing and job-tailoring features, and other features described on our Pricing page.

You need an account to save your work and download documents. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you register, and you must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — you'll keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that. Downgrading or cancelling never deletes your resumes; content beyond your new plan's limits becomes read-only until you upgrade again or remove the extras.

You own the resume, cover letter, and personal information you enter into the Service ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership over it. You're responsible for making sure Your Content is accurate and that you have the right to use any information (including photos) you upload.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you — for example, rendering your live preview and generating your PDF export. We don't sell Your Content or use it to train AI models.

Some features rewrite or analyze text you provide (such as resume bullet points or a pasted job description) using a third-party AI provider. These suggestions are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or require editing — you're responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you include in a final document.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to impersonate another person;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that you don't have permission to use;
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk to the Service or other users.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any resume created with it will result in employment outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
